Seaspy Model ECC-2WA Wide Angle

This camera is a monochrome version of the ECC-1 that has been adapted to incorporate a varifocal lens to allow the field of view in water to be preset at either 40 or 60 degrees.

A colour camera version is also available.

Its small size and rugged design makes the ECC-2WA ideal for general purpose underwater use including the observation of equipment installation,  divers helmet cameras, underwater vehicles and manipulators.

The camera offers very high image resolution and its exceptional low light performance will often provide a good image in ambient light without the need for artificial lighting.

An optional line amplifier provides an adjustment point inside the housing to preset video output for use with coaxial cables up to 500 metres (1600 feet) long.

A voltage regulator with reverse polarity protection is provided to allow the camera to operate from supplies ranging from 13 to 30 volts dc.

The IL4MP underwater connector on a short cable tail, is moulded directly to the camera end cap for maximum durability and minimum wastage of space.

Housing materials are machined from Acetal Copolymer and Titanium or 316 Stainless Steel to provide good resistance to corrosion in seawater. Alternative materials are available on request.
