Submertec`s revolutionary Spyball combines a remote control underwater video camera with pan and tilt unit in one compact assembly that can rotate to look in any direction - without restriction.

The Inspection Spyball incorporates high intensity LED lighting with 10X Zoom Colour Camera and features twin Laser pointers as an aid to estimating object size.

The camera provides crystal clear images and coupled with features such as automatic or manual focus, 10X zoom and good close focus ability it is ideal for inspection work

An array of 35 high intensity white LEDs provides sufficient light for a full contrast image at up to 2 metres and lower contrast at up to 5 metres.

Two class 3a laser pointers mounted within the LED array can be activated to produce parallel beams of light 32mm apart, that can be directed at an object to indicate scale and allow size to be estimated.

Weighing in at only 3.6 Kg and able to fit through a 185mm diameter hole, it can be deployed in situations that exclude other cameras.

All external Spyball parts are machined from solid Aluminium Bronze or Acetal Co-Polymer to ensure long and corrosion free service in seawater to depths of over 300 metres. A non metallic version is also available.

Apart from direct suspension on its cable, a number of deployment options and mounting arrangements are available including, flange mounts, tube fittings and telescopic Carbon Fibre poles up to 7 Metres long.

Spyballs can be mounted in any orienation, above or below water, making it ideal for use in hostile environments where durability and corrosion resistance is essential.

The Spyball Model SCPI-A  Portable Control Unit has been specially developed to complement the Inspection Spyball and make full use of its unique features.
