DISCONTINUED - Batray Spherical Aquarium Camera
This camera has been developed to avoid any sharp edges that could harm delicate fish such as Bat Rays in marine aquariums.
Corals, anemones, crustaceans, fish etc can be viewed in close up detail and the fully automatic lens will maintain pin sharp focus right up to a few centimetres from the viewport - See detail on screen better than the naked eye!
The 110 mm diameter sphere can be supplied for mounting either way up. A simple mounting arrangement in shallow water "touch pools", ponds etc can allow visitors to rotate the camera to look around while avoiding direct contact with the creatures.
Camera operation is from a safe low voltage dc supply and power requirements are small enough to allow operation from a battery pack if preferred.
The camera can be supplied with underwater cable length as required and a small junction box for connection of the power supply and coaxial lead to the video monitor. Optionally it can also be supplied with controls for up to 10X zoom.
All external parts are machined from materials that are suitable for long term immersion in seawater and safe for use with delicate corals, sharks and rays.
