The Seaspy Model B5-HD controller provides power and control of an underwater video camera and LED light in a rugged, lightweight and easy to operate package.

This is a new and more versatile development of the Model B4 to allow operation with HD or Composite cameras.

An internal converter allows operation with composite (CVBS) or TVI, CVI, AHD HD cameras.

Automatic signal recognition is used to convert the input to HD at 720p or 1080p for output to the HDMI socket on the rear panel.

The input video signal is also looped out to a BNC connector on the rear panel. A termination switch next to the BNC is set to Hi-Z when in use or 75 Ohm when not connected.

A fixed 18 vdc supply to the camera is controlled by a simple on / off button on the front panel

The LED light is powered by a constant current supply, variable at up to 2 Amps for use with the Submertec UVL-3 light. This supply can deliver 2 Amps at up to 28v when used with long cables.

An optional current limit switch can be fitted if the unit will be used for other LED lights that cannot operate at 2 Amps.

Buttons on the front panel allow the light to be switched on / off and intensity varied from maximum brightness to a low level.

All connections are to the clearly marked rear panel.
